can PFM's be folded manually?

Well about a year ago, everyone with power folding mirrors wanted to know, can you fold the mirrors with your hands manually...

Has anyone figured out? I'm too scared to try it lol

yes u can ive done it u can manually fold them

yeah i did it 1st time by accident also 2nd the 3rd my sister in law pushed it in by accident but im sure if u do it 2 often it would f up the motor

i hear you can pull them out manually.. but pushing them in is a different story.. as soon as i have enough money to waste on a spare set of PFMs then i wouldnt be able to tell you 100% though..

I've folded mine both in and out they still work fine. I did it on accident the first time when I had no battery in the car and I was shitting myself thinking I prob just broke it. but It still came right back out when I put the battery in I have since done it a handful of times being lazy and not wanting to turn the car on to fold the mirrors in I have since hooked up constant power to the switch so I can fold with the car off and no keys. Eventually I am going to hook up to my alarm so they fold in when armed and out when disarmed

I had done it plenty of times... I'd say its pretty safe.

yeah u can i bumped one at the carwash and nearly cried but hten i realized they still work

yes a friend ran into my driver side one i almost flipped out until i applied power to it and it folded back out i was like woah that was luck......

eh guess its just me, but my driver side doesn't want to budge when i slowly pull it towards me. Dont want to try lol

its like its in a groove like the origional OEM mirrors... you have to give it alittle tug... then you will think you broke it, because it will seem very lose..but its actually fine.

wat if there not on the car, becease im about to paint them and i need 2 str8n them out. will they brake?
