Polishing JDM "Chrome" Trim on Grill/One-Piece

I'm looking to polish my set of 9091 JDM grill and one-piece headlights and I'm not sure what to use as the material seems like a plastic coated with a chrome layer.

Should I use metal polish, chrome polish, plastic polish?
I'd be hand polishing them with unmost passion.
I just don't want to ruin them!

Plastic polish would be the softest, mothers mag polish would be the next step up. Just start with the plastic and see how it goes.

you can use metal polish and plastic polish on the headlights.
for the grill, you can use the chrome polish. later.
