Need Help!!!!!!!!

ok so I get my JDM headlights mounted and all and i go to put my grill back on and it does not fit. It overlaps my crome trim on my headlights. It is a USDM grill. It would line up like a dream if the trim was not there. did I get some kind of goofy grill or are the JDM grills shorter?

hey fizz I have the 90-91 JDM headlights also.

May be your problem....

There are two types of jdm 90-91 style grilles. There's ones that look exactly like the us-spec ones that are shaped like ] "rounded edges" where they meet the headlamps. The other version goes straight like | on the edges and lines up with the chrome trimmed headlamps nicely. It's the same size really...just one has rolled edges and the other one goes straight up and down.

This might be your problem but I never heard anyone else runnin jdm chromed headlamps having any problems with it lining up with their 90-91 grill..... unless they don't care?

Is the chrome covers on your headlamps out of shape? not the skinny portions but the thick section near the edge where it meets the grille.

i think i have the one that goes straight cause it doesn't roll at all. I think I am gonna trim it to fit. it just seems a little longer than the other i have seen.

is the overlap big? if not, try to loosen the bolts of the headlights to give some slack when putting back the grill. try that. that's what i needed to do but i have 92-93 jdm headlights and 92-93 usdm grill. i dunno if it differs on the 90-91. i too haven't heard of any fitment problems with as far as 90-91 headlights to 90-91 grills.

if you have 90-91 headlights with a 92-93 grill thats why its doing it I think Rebels had this same problem when he first got his JDM headlights...

i got a 91 grille with 91 headlights

the grill is 90-91 and the headlights are 90-91. I got it sorta fixed but it still overlaps.
