Personal Box

[CB7 Sleeper]

Anybody got a JDM Personal Box installed in there CB7? I want one but the only one I found was really expensive. How much should they cost? Are they hard to install? or is it pretty straight forward. Just a few questions.

Im assuming you're referring to the Personal Box thats where the normal ashtray is...?

I know owequitit has one and i think JARHEAD has/had one. They are pretty rare and are pretty expensive. I just made my own, lol.

i think id rather find a rare and expensive personal box, this kind of defeats the purpose. im more looking for a rare part than anything.

Just my opinion, but I think it's a waste. They're selling for over 100 bucks last time I saw one.

wrap it with suede, and slap on a 'personal Box, for non-smokers' badge on it

thats sounds like a good idea there blizz. i might have to do that with mine since its never been smoked in.

It's not suede actually. I forget the name of the material i used, but it wasnt suede. I'll look it up and get back to you though.

Also, the personal boxes dont have that spring-loaded piece that hangs over the top of the normal ashtrays and when i tried removing that piece, it was a bitch FYI. But it can be done. GL.

Good luck. Im not encouraging you NOT to do it, but its harder than it seems. My suggestion; make a template of the fabric first. Make sure the template fits snug, then trace/cut your material.
