Why don't the JDM fog lights off of the wagons fit the USDM coupe and sedan bumpers?

Explain how they don't fit. (not trying to be a smartass. I'm quite puzzled by this too.)

fog brackets are different you'll have to bend it back.

Because Honda didn't make them that way.



Actually, JDM vehicles usually didn't (still may not) have to conform to the stricter crash ratings we require here in the states, so the behind the cover pieces were different, requiring different brackets for acessories in the bumpers. That's why JDM doesn't fit USDM bumper covers.

Maybe I didn't ask my question right, so now I'll change it up a bit. How much does the JDM CB9 fog light brackets differ from the JDM CB3 fog light brackets? Also, does anyone know how much longer the CB9 lenses are compared to the CB3 lenses on the fogs?

they should almost be USDM Spec. without the JDM CB3 Curve.

only thing different is the Bracket.

You have to bend the two upper mounting tabs on the left and right side backwards, however the center one lines up and is enough to keep the fogs firmly in place.
