they were from 98-02, similar to the USDM 6th gen (CF/CG)

It really looks like a straight swap. It is possible, because I think the CF is much narrower than the CG, and may even be narrower than the CD.

The car is incredibly clean as well.

you can see that he has welded the CG fender with the CB fender.

its basically the same process, we need the base of the CB fender near the doors and sidemarkers.
