my ac controls, dont light up sometimes. if i tap on it, they come on. should i just replace the whole unit, or is it a light strip?

you know I have that problem also but if I tap on mine they don't come on. I said screw it though since I know i will probably have to replace bulbs

Glad to see I'm not alone. The lights that illuminate to dials go out sometimes and I have to tap them to turn them on.
It's probably a loose connection. I just want to pull out half the dash out get to it.
