    how to remove the handbrake?

    anybody know hwo to remove the handbrake lever? im doing a gray int conversion and the tan handbrake has got to go!!! how do i remove it?

    remove it temporarily?... or forever?...the latter is not recommended.

          dont care for the tan handle anymore just wanna remove it to put the gray one on. now what about the button do i need the button from the gray one also?

            take the handbrake console off (2 screws on the side, two behind the ashtray). grab the edges of the handbrake cover and pull out so that the tabs inside clear their perches. pull the cover off. you're done!
