    Great Interior Cleaner!!

Move this, if it's not supposed to be in this sub-forum please. Thanks.

I detailed/cleaned my aunt/uncle's 96 Olds LSS this past weekend.

Anyhow, my aunt introduced me to this awesome interior cleaning solution of 409 diluted in water. That's it, simple & it works for EVERYTHING (ie. carpet stains, vinyl, plastic, leather...I haven't tested on cloth seats). It took every stain or mark I encountered except the tar stains on the plastic step part at each door when you enter the car. I had a toothbrush, carpet brush, green scrub-pad and rag with me...all I needed.

It's what I will use from now on, works great. I was very impressed. No discoloration or eating of plastic, etc.

Seriously tho ... I just bought some of this stuff called *Oxi-Clean* last nite .. gonna try that, as I've heard some good things about it ..
Tan EX door panels on my LX .. wow, they get pretty filthy, pretty fast ..

Anyone else got any input on what you use? Pass it on over.

    A Hui Hou !!

Yep I said blood...I had a blood stain on a shirt and I just soaked it in that Awesome, within 5 minutes it was out. So I guess it would take blood out of cars. Thats if you have blood in ur car

You're right, that Awesome stuff is pretty good. There's also a certain carpet cleaner that my mom carries that works wonders. Yeh she owns a buck store. I forget the name of it, but it worked better than any other carpet cleaner I've ever tried, and I've tried to many to remember. I'll try to find out the name of it.

i used to do interior detailing and what i always use is ZEP cleaning wipes, it comes in a oval shape blue bottle with a yellow cap, it works wicked good, grease, old stains, anything u can think of, u can find it at like HomeDepot in the commercial cleaning section...good luck.

Simple Green owns all on the Exterior...and then Tuff Stuff, there hasn't been much I haven't gotten out with it.

As far as the dirt on the tan doors, I found that those Mr.Clean magic erasers are freakin awesome. Seriously, the doors and leather seats look brand-spankin new!

diluted 409 = teh w1n. i realized that when i first got my car.

now, i gotta do it again.

but, someone told me 409 will fade the "leather." i told him, our cars aren't leather man, they're hard vinyl. he said "well, i don't know then." mine hasn't faded and this was 2 months ago.
