Well, ive seen this for other cars and not for or on any cb7, so i decided to diy it myself. Instead of just removing the backseat and giving everyone a view into my trunk and what may or may not be inside it, i removed the backseat, cleaned up under it, removed the seatbelts, and then placed carpet over the area where there was exposed paint and metal. Its dark now and the pics kind of suck, but it gives you an idea of what it looks like. When i get time in the day ill take better pics.
Some may say this is stupid(i have a 4 door) but im becoming much more performance oriented and wanted to lose some weight, and I dont care for exposed paint and metal as i said before. My wife and family dont ride in the car(we have a passat wagon for that) and so thats not really an issue. Regardless, here it is and tell me what you think.
the carpet isnt a perfect match, but it works for me, as i dont plan on too many people even seeing inside the car anyways, and this is not a show car. I might show it to people, but as i said, its not a show car.
