    interior door handles

Does anyone know where I can buy interior door handles for a 2 door CB7 with power locks? I can find both DX and LX/EX door handles in every color of the rainbow on ebay all day. None for the 2 doors. I know modifying the 4 doors is more popular, but dang guys, this just sucks.

Even though I have a sedan, I do recalling looking in a couple once and seeing different style handles...my question is are the connections the same?...if they are you could always convert.

go to the local dealership, and go to the parts department. it's about $10-15 dollars, takes about a minute to install yourself.

or go to the local junkyard.

Not to say your wrong Uncle, but when I ordered mine about a year ago it was $20 or $25 plus tax...but then again that was a year ago, and as far as price is concerned, it should only go up. But maybe in your area their more plentiful, but thats how much mine cost.

Also you will need to save the door lock switch on reuse it on the new one.

Like Uncle said, Junkyards are your friend...but the ones around here sell the used handles for $20, and thas if you can find one thats not broken!

damn, i paid something like twelve bucks and change for the one i ordered from my local dealership about a year and a half ago. inflation and bush i guess, lol.

i didn't know you could not save the door lock switch... i thought it was attached and actually a separate piece from the interior door handle itself.

Do you mean you didnt know you could save...? Anyways thats how mine and every OEM peice that I have saw comes, with no door lock switch...just remove the two screws holding it onto the handle and then install it on the new one. Then reconnect the harness and slip in the latch rod and your good to go.

i think you misread what i wrote... i said:
"i didn't know you could not save the door lock switch... " i.e. i thought it would be self explanatory, in that the door lock switch isn't a part of the door handle.

Ha...my bad. I read it wrong. Also I was thinking about how cheap yours was and realized that your car is a coupe whereas mine is a sedan...so are the front sedan and coupe handles different? Because I always thought they were the same, and the connections have to be the same no matter if they are diff. Right? Can one of you coupe guys take a pic and measurements of your handles?
Sorry about getting off the thread again...
