Shift Boot Installation

I just bought that shift boot. I was wondering if anyone else had the same one or similair and knows how your properly supposed to attach it.

I would imagine you install it in reverse order as to which you remove the OE shift boot.

Yea, that's the problem. My car came with no shift boot.

Ohh... Well, do you have the OE metal band that the shift boot mounts on?

I don't think so.

But I'm also not sure what that would look like.

When you remove the center console and flip it over you would see a piece of metal in the same shape as the hole for the shifter. It is attached with two screws at one end and it slips into two "pegs" at the other end. If you don't ave that band, then you need to purchase one. Afterwhich you just simply slide the shift boot over it and re-install the band/shit boot onto the center console. It pretty self explanitory.
