Ive been seeing alot of pics lately of a shortened auto shifter with a billet handle. What is the process to shorten that up, I love that look.

Auto Shift Knob Mod
First things first, you need to get the short shifter. Try ebay under auto shift knob. Here's what it looks like blown up. Next, you need a pipe cutter to chop the shifter tubing and the inner rod down to size. Finally, you put the shifter on and tighten the allen screws that it comes with. It's just that simple!
-By the way, I am the ORIGINATOR of this style. Remember that the next time you shift!Last edited by R33cb7; 11-21-2005, 11:53 PM.
If imitation is the best form of flattery............thanks for kissing my ass.
