If ya don't have one....and you have a few extra bucks, have one installed at an accessory shop. Their sunroofs usually have both tilt and slide. The only reason I wouldn't go aftermarket is the fact that the frame assy. sits on top of the roof instead of under it....but I had an aftermarket power moonroof put in my truck for $1200 and it worked like it was from the factory!

Just thinking about your project... The 1st gen Acura CL does have the tilt feature, and it is based off the 5th gen Accord. Chances are, it's the same shape. So could this be the missing link that you seek?

You're a freaking geneous man! It is also true that the CL is based upon the 5th gen accord, and most definately the 5th gen accord glass is exactly the same dimensions as the 4th gen...I know this because I bought the glass piece from a 97 accord and put it directly on top of mine, and all the lines, angles, diameters, etc matched up perfectly. So this just might be the missing link! Now the only thing I have to do is find a junk yard with all the necessary parts I will need to do the swap....like the switch, wiring, and moonroof assy.... this could get interesting

ill measure the civic one tommorrow chris my wife has a 95 civic ex and hers tilts and slides into the roof so this may work also ill let you know what i find out tommorrow.

I almost know for a fact that this one will not fit....I am pretty sure that only accord/cl ones will work....Civic moonroof's don't appear to be the same shape, but I could be wrong though....

nope the civic one is smaller than ours measured the wifes and its not as wide.

Damn....Well I guess im gonna have to find a CL and try that...my moonroof leaks everytime I wash my car....luckily it doesn't in the rain....

I have aftermarket Out-slide powered sunroof and I really hate it.
For couple of years.. thinking about installing EX roof.
Local body shop wants $1,000 for the labor and paint, not incluing the
parts. Right now.. I need to find the CB7 EX.. and if CL sunroof fits our car..
it would be really sweet! Local repair shop do have 91 EX sunroof assy.,
but I also need the EX roof to cover up the aftermarket sunroof opening.

I have a question. For a 91 EX 4dr with a MANUAL sunroof (manual sunroofs lick balls), would it be possible to replace that entire assembly with a 90-91 EX POWER sunroof? Would the wiring be hard? Where would I get the sunroof assembly and switch? Thanks.

Wow I've never heard of an accord with a manual sunroof before. If you wanted the assembly and switch, hit up a local junkyard, it shouldn't cost you too much.
