    new carpet? possibilities.

so i am in the process of sprucing up my coupe. fixing the rusty quarter panel, new leather bb6 seats, and replacing my carpet. i currently have tan carpet, and i would like it to be black. it has coffee and soda stains (previous owner) that i cannot get out. i got a quote of 385$ from a local guy to redo my carpet in black, is there anywhere i could get a better deal? or has anyone dyed theirs? im not looking for show car quality, just better than i have now. thanks!

are carpets from 9091 the same as 9293? i ask because, i was wondering about the auto vs manual seat belts on how they mount

You can use the OEM carpet from a 1991 SE sedan or a 1990 DX Phoenix Red coupe. Both of which are kinda rare.

The sedan carpet fits in the coupe, but leaves you with a small gap between the door sill and B pillar.

If you get the carpet from stockinteriors its formed, but not cut. You have to trim the edges, and make the holes for seats, shifter, ebrake etc. Makes for a cleaner install, especially for me because my seat brackets are custom, and in different spot, and no factory seatbelts. Trust me I would go with them, its worth the price, instead of JY scavenging for a clean carpet of the color you want. Then you gotta gut the car to get it.

Pic of mine, doesn't do it justice tho.

nice. Thanks for the link. They even have an option to add MLV for sound deadening for $55.
That will be my next project.

                Thanks

That's a nice looking carpet. I like the texture of it. Is it a little more 'foamy' feeling/looking than the OEM's more fluffy kind of look and feel?
