Center Console swap

I want to use the 91 SE Graphite Black center console on my 93 LX. I'm sick and tired of painting my shit black. Has any one swapped these or know if it fits. I'm sure the front one does but the back one is probably thinner. Maybe if I change the brackets that hold it in place, it should fit?

i think the carpet will not be cut right to fit the 91 since it is skinnier. Where did you find a 91 se?

how hard would a complete 92-93 conversion be on my 91? like e brake and all?

It's really easy, but you can do it with the stock 90-91 seats. You have to get rid of the autobelts. Then you have to move the E-brake over. The center was an option in 92-93 to do with wagon console, as the stock 92-93 console is offset towards the driver, where the 90-91 console is centered between the seats.

well I have a new black carpet so thats not a problem and I wish I found an 91' SE. I'm going to order an new console from Honda, graphite black. I'll order the SE brackets while I'm at it.

yup, and slide over.

You can't do it in a 90-91 unless you convert the seats/seatbelts.

The auto belt tensioner is too bulky. The center console nearly touches the e-brake console. You have to change the seats for it to work.

damn to much work imo. i would doit if i only had to change the seatbelts. but not the seats.

I've got some plans that will hopefully eliminate it altogether

I tried the e brake conversion and trust me it's not as easy as just un-bolting and moving it over trust me.
