Alright, so yesterday i installed my aftermarket steering wheel with NRG 1st gen quick release and NRG short hub, but after the install, the steering wheel is kinda to the right. This wasnt the case with the stock steering wheel. I actually took everything out and tried to figure out how to fix/adjust it, but didnt seem possible. Should i just go get an alignment? or is there a way to align it back up?

I've never taken off my steering wheel, but when I rebuilt my power steering rack, I had to separate it from the steering column. There are splines on the end of the steering rack. You can just straiten the wheels, remove the plastic cover behind the pedals, loosen the 2 nuts (10 or 12mm), remove the joint, straiten the steering wheel, and reinstall the joint. If you're not able to straiten it at the steering wheel, you can try that.

OH!!!
i just figured out how i could straighten out the steering wheel, but i would have to remove this plastic piece that goes before the hub onto the car. Im not sure what it does exactly, but i know that without it, your blinker won't unclick after you make a turn.
How many of you guys with swapped or aftermarket steering wheels kept that plastic piece?
There are only 2 ways to insert the steering wheel with that plastic piece. Either with the hub right side up or directly upside down.

Yeah, it will take some messing with to get it right. Some of it depends on how they cut the grooves on the center of the hub too. Sometimes they are cut the exact same way as the stock hub which way cause your wheel to be slightly off center.Still hustlin that Old Skool.......it never ends.
