    Door panel fabric problem

The fabric on the door panels is comming off, I have already tried gluing it back on with spray on adhesive, but it came off like 2 days later. Any suggestions as to what will keep it on?

when i did mine, i used this fabric glue which came in a bottle and you actually put it on there like real glue and not like an adhesive spray.
look for it in the crafts section of walmart.

Mine did the same thing. You might be better off just stripping it off and painting with vinyl paint...works good. Check out my ride in members ride's

Get some 3M adhesive remover. Usually found in the paint section at WalMart or automotive store. It's pretty potent! Sand the panels after that, mask them off and use some vinyl spray paint. (also found in automotive store) The paint is awesome and it won't peel chip, etc. It seems to just soak in.

I only needed one can of it. You might need more depending on how liberal you are. I think it's about $5

LOL yeah thats the main problem with the glue. When it gets hot inside the car (the car is black too) the glue gets tacky and loses its stick. I will try and hunt down some leather ones. I Think I want to convert the interior to leather anyway.

Yeah, if you can find the leather, it'd be awesome. If not, the paint looks great if you take your time. You would think my doors were stock if you didnt know better.

I'm pretty handy with a rattlecan so I'm not scared to paint. I just like leather and I'd rather do this the right way.
