    installing side skirts

    ok i just got these m3 side skirts to finish the kit and so the car can get its paint job next week. but just by putting the sides up to the car it doesnt seem right. i took off my stock sides a while ago and threw them out like a dumbass and now it seems that you need them on for these to screw into. am i right? im going to the junkyard sometime this week so do you think i need the stock sides? please help. thanks

    no, you should not need the stock side skirts.

    the kit, as some are known to do, does not seem to fit well. you need to try and match the holes up (assuming the side skirts have pre-drilled holes in them) that will line up with those of your car.

    you could just wait and have them installed at the place you are getting the car painted.
