anyone who's anyone with a cb7 has some sort of front lip on their cb7. well, not really but i thought i'd make a lip faq, since there are so many questions about them. hopefully this will answer most, if not all, questions about front lips
-what is a front lip?-
A front lip (aka front valance) is a cosmetic enhancement of the front bumper. in some instances, a front lip gives a nice subtle improvement of the front bumper. in other instances, a front lip can give a very aggressive look to the front, making the car appear very low to the ground.
-do any cb7s come with a lip from the factory (oem lips)?-
Sure, the ex and se models came with a front lip
-what front lips fit?-
a lip from any year cb7 will fit any cb7. in other words, the front lip from a 90 will fit that of a 93 and vice versa. so, if it's made for a cb7, it will fit your cb7 (remember that every companies craftsmanship and quality control is different, so a lip from a reputable company may be an easier fit than a lip from a no-name company).
a lip designed for a cd5/5gen accord will also fit, whether it's oem or aftermarket (greddy, mugen, type r, spoon, etc.), though a minor amount of modification will be involved.
6gen and 7gen accord lips may fit, again modification would be involved.

www.streetrays.com

www.streetrays.com is a source for the seemingly elusive greddy lip.
www.ebay.com is a good source for the mugen style and type r style lips.
-how much should i anticipate spending on the lip (usd)?-
an oem cb7 lip should run between $15-40 depending on the source.
an oem cd5/5gen lip should run about the same, $15-40.
a cd5/5gen greddy lip varies between $180 and $300. www.streetrays.com sells them for $250.
a cd5/5gen mugen style lip should run between $50 and $120, as should the type r style and spoon style lips.
-now i have the lip, how do i put it on?-
it'll probably be easiest to remove the front bumper first.
diy: front bumper removal.
get yourself a 10mm socket wrench, and the appropriate size bolts. once you get the front bumper removed, you should see the holes for the lip. if you have an oem cb7 lip, it should be a breeze.
cd5/gen oem lips will take a little bit of bending, but it shouldn't be too hard.
cd5/5gen aftermarket lips will take a little bit more bending, as well as some cutting (use a dremel or an airsaw):

-i don't have the tools to install the lip myself, how much would a body shop charge to install the lip (usd)?-
as body shops charge by the hour, expect an hourly charge. labor rates run $50-80 an hour. the lip install shouldn't take more than an hour or two (depending on which lip you purchase), so $50 to $160.
-ok, so accord lips fit. any other lips?-
so, it may indeed be possible for the reverse to hold true. a civic lip may fit on an accord. and since the integra and the civic share the same chassis, the integra lip may also fit on an accord.
this remains to be seen, and currently i don't know of any cb7 with either a lip designed for a civic or an integra.
