    totally smooth or body line?

i am thinking about getting my body mouldings shaved and i was wondering if i should make it totally smooth or leave the little body line just above the body moulding. ive never seen this before. ive seen them totally smooth but not with the body line still there. it would be a little bit different. what do u guys think? apperently it will cost a bit more to have it totally smooth is it worth it?

i have my moldings shaved and it makes the coupes look much smoother. its not that costly and it looks better in my opinion. just taking the moldings off and painting it looks cheesy

I think it looks better to leave the indents...on newer cars like the 5th gen Prelude or even Accord shaving is cool, but on our cars it just looks boring. I haven't seen shaved sides in person though, so eh...

exactly.. whats worse is when the moldings are shaved, but then the moldings on the bumpers are still on there

i hope whoever does the work for you, welds sheet metal instead of laying pounds of bondo to fill those lines.

the cb7 has been shaved for almost 5yrs. now and no cracks or blemishes to this day.

the guy who i am getting to do it knows what he is doing and he is gonna weld in pieces of metal. im not that dumb! just filling it with bondo is the dumbest idea and it will crack within a few months. so yeah im getting it done right
im just wondering what it would look like if the molding were shaved and that little body line were to stay there like the pic i put above a few posts
i like the look of it totally smooth but i think it would look a little different with the little line in there

PRIMOCB7 your car looks sick with the shaved moldings and handles!!
