    5th gen lip problems

    I am confused.... I ordered an OEM replacment 5th gen lip, for my CB7. The invoice says it's:

    Accord 94-95 Front Lower Valance, 4-cylinder models

    First, it doesn't look anything like everyone elses lips. It's very narrow, and it's about 3 inches wider than my bumper. There is no way that I could even bend it to fit without destroying it.

    There is also no rise in the center, like on all of the pics that I've seen on here. Does anyone know the HONDA part number for the 5th gen lip that fits our CB7s? Is it the EX-V6 lip for a '95 Accord? Please help.....

        the part # on mine is 71110-sv4a-0000 but mine doesnt look anything like that one.

          hey man...thats a 71110-SV4-010, and what you need is a 71110-SV4-000.....what you have there is for a 1997 accord SE....i believe...i know my part numbers are right and im certain thats for the 1996/97s send that back!

              wait you have a 71110-sv4-000?? or the sv4-010? what he is holding is the 96/97 SE front lip. he needs the regular EX lip... i MAY have the 010/000 backwards lol.... pretty sure it was a 010 in his hand

                mine is 71110-sv4a-0000, and it says air spoiler fr next to the #

                  You know what, on the part the number contains "ACD96", and it's actually a reproduction part. Looks like a 6th gen part. You guys are right, thanks!!

                    yea thats a 96-97 front lip. you want for for a 94-95. theyre different.

                        yup, 96-97 r more narrow, flat like looking, where the 94-95 look more "agressive" i thikn all 94-95 models have the same lip, even dx.. correct me if im wrong, i see alot of people say 94-95 ex lip, but i had an lx and its the same lip

                          yea, they are all the same lip, but not all models came with them standard. they were actually an option on lower trim levels

                              UPDATE:

                              I just talked to customer service, they asked for a pic of what I got....and looked up my invoice. They sent me the wrong part!! So, all's I have to do is destroy the one they shipped me, send her a pic of the destroyed part....and they are shipping out the correct part Monday free of charge. Now that, is customer service!!
