Interest in 92/93 Coupe Carbon Fiber Trunk?

Ok, a few months ago I was talking to Andy at BodykitsNW.com. I basically wanted to get a 92-93 coupe trunk lid made(maybe with a flush mount trunk spoiler incorporated into the mold). He is willing to make the mold for us but he needs a minimum of 10 orders and a non refundable 25% deposit down for the trunk and a trunk to make the mold. The cost of the carbon fiber trunks will be $495 each(yes a price change) + $110 for shipping via UPS. Estimated time of completion will be 1.5-2 months after the deposit. So before I make a Groupbuy thread in the for sale section, I wanted to get a feel from fellow members on who might be intrested in doing a group purchase for a coupe trunk or coupe trunk w/the oem flush mount trunk spoiler. So peeps let me know if your intrested. And I will repeat this again, this is not a group buy for the oem flush mount spoiler This is a group buy for the 92-93 COUPE trunk lid either with or with out the oem flush mount spoiler.!

I am trying to finalize some things, the estimated time of completion for all 10 or more trunklids and of course it will matter on when we will have all of the deposits in to get it started.

don't you need a flush mount to create a mold? so you already have one? nice! also i heard that you will need to supply a trunk lid for prototyping and it will not be returned b/c they need to deskin it to get the frame mold. this info was from joey (stickydiljoe). but anywho if i wasn't converting to a sedan lid, i would jump at this carlos. good luck with it!

Maple50175, Cause I am sporting some jdm red/ambers and don't care so much for the red clears. So I shall say, to each his own.

The G-Man, I would rater have a nice clean one peice of the trunk lid w/spoiler myself.

Yeah i'd agree I wouldn't have the money for a trunk, but I would like a CF flush mount. That'd be sick!

That is what i ws talking about. You can have your cake and eat it too. Unless the CF mold completely fucks it up.

Have mold made of flush mount spoiler alone.
Have mold made of coupe trunk and flush mount together.
