I'd like the see how exactly the strut folds down so I can decide if there's enough room for a prop to be installed in the cb7. there just might be enough.

ill take a picture next time im near mine . . . it really is a nifty system . . . i have a rear spoiler on mine and its a really really heavy trunk . . . CF would be cool, but i havent seen any for the 5th gen that i could stand paying for

i have a 91 and would like a cf trunk lid. where did you get yours???

at the moment none are for sale and the company that made the orig. 12 is not producing any more.. no more CF trunks unless you take more initiative like joey and go get one made using your OEM trunk as a template... expect to spend more than 500 to have just one trunk made.... hint inquire about a group buy.

luckily they gave me an extra one for 350.. but if rareity is an issue ide sell mine for 550.. or ill put it on ebay.. people actually pay outrageous prices..

i was thinkin of doing the gas struts also for my trunk.. i think ill have my dad fabricate a bracket for me. if it works out ill let you ugys know.


oh yea.. those trunk springs are a bitch to take out.. i cut mine and the force behind it does hurt.

I wouldn't mind one either. But I dont want the 92-93 trunk. It just looks ugly to me. So all in favor for a 90-91 cf trunk.
