Ok I just got my front lip in the mail. would would look best should i paint my moldings or leave them black....? I was also thinking if i should shave them. what do y'all think?

But I think you should paint them, and if you shave them on your stock front bumper you need a flexable adhesive filler, or something like fuzar that can flex since the bumpers aren't fiberglass or anything easy to shave.Adam - Retired OG member from '03

You can shave them on the bumpers if your body man is skilled enough and knows what to use.
PRIMO did it to his way back in the day with his old bumpers.
