buddy club rear bumper..

I have a smashed up rear bumper, and I wanted to get that replaced, but I really like the look of the buddy club bumper. I wanna know if it keeps the stock size of the original bumper, like what does it measure, from the top of the bumper to the bottom? Will it look tacky if I just do the rear bumper, and nothing else( z3 fenders will go on too)? I drive during winter, so a bodykit is kidna outta the question, but this rear bumper looks like it keeps the stock size..http://www.accordclub.com/members/featured/2/index.html

I wanna know if anyone has it, and if it is the same size or not..also, where to get it if it is..

i have the buddyclub rear and sides and black widow front, the buddy club rear fits perfect i didnt need any modding at all, and yes it is one of my favorite rears for our cars. the exhuast location isalso perfect. i would go with the buddy club if i were you. but just remember that it also depends on the company you buy it from. most kits need some type of modding, like trimming,drilling,priming,etc. but good choice though.

It looks to me to be a speck lower than ours, but our bumpers are high in the back. Good choice tho, I honestly want one for mine too, and I'm not into the whole kit scene.

yeah it is lower......of course, i like how my kit make my car "look" lower. but i have never scraped the back, the front is what ya worry about. and yes it does look kinda weird with just a rear, atleast get a lip for the front or something.

speck??? My buddy club rear hangs around 4" lower than the stock bumper on the sides, and a little lower than stock in the middle.

I definitely saw a pic of an accord with a smaller buddy club bumper...they're out there

not only do I drive my baby in winter, I also got my driveway to get up..the curb is the worse. I gotta get up it at an angle as it is..accordzoom's rear bumper looks really big..I want the smallest rear i can get it. Otherwise, I will hafta order the stock bumper.

In case you guys didn't realize it the picture in this thread is of a stocker with a lip molded on. There is an add in Super Street that I always see selling those rear lips, or add-ons really. I'll see if I can't find it and post a web page. IIRC they're like $80+shipping.

Thats weird its not on their page, but I have a May 03 issue that shows they have them for 94-97 cords only, oh well maybe they discontinued them, irregardless they claim they have a Mugen rear lip, but no pics of it. Any one up to give 'em a call?

Here's the buddy club you were looking for, it's not as low as the one on my car and the other kitted ones here. It's got the stock side molding on it still.. so it'd look good if you didn't want a low kit.
