    stubborn dang clock

Alright, I've looked and read about this DC clock thing, so I aquired one. I went to go simply pop my old clock out . . . am I missing something? Prying from the left with a mini flathead and then the blade from my hacksaw, I got no where. I am worried about damaging the dash pad itself if I pry any harder. I see that I have to go back a ways to get to the metal clip on the clock, but I can't get past the lip on the dash pad. For such a job that seems so simple, what am I missing?

get a small pocket screw driver and pull it out gently from the left of the clock and slide it out to the left and unclip, plug new one in.

Remember, 15-18yr old cars = hard, stubborn parts.

Especially the clock. Unless you plan on selling the old one, dont be afraid to bang it up. It always seems impossible to get out, but youll get it.

Haha. I was at a junk yard a few days ago and pryed the hell out of a clock from an integra. Definitely snapped it in half.

        My advice - be gentle.
