You can do that, but you will also need a 1992-1993 bumper.

On your car it doesn't look bad. For some reason, on my car it looked gigantic. Maybe it was the color difference, I don't know.

would it not be cheaper to get the grill off an earlier cb7...cut out the logo...and just add some mesh? I mean $100 vs...10-15?

Every time I see someone selling these I get mad sticker shock...any way thats my thoughts...

That's not even what they look like though.

Compare a Blizzsquare or G-Square grill to a stock one. The mesh is not the only difference.

x2. im a cheap ass unless its a quality part. the grill looks good, and if mine doesnt turn out good im going to try this. worse that happens is i dont like it and resell it on ebay.

from the diy I've seen they look just about identical. you take all the chrome off the stock one...I mean it's not as straight forward as just all that I have said...you also have to form it a little...either way...

I've seen folks try to sell them for a lot more than $100...I'm just saying...you could spend 100 or do it yourself...

but that's why some folks buy and some folks make...depends on your cash flow and free time.

Either way...it does look really good!

I guess I'm just not seeing it. The stock one is made from molded plastic. I don't see how you would just "form it" a little.

My guess is that the G-square type grills are made from fiberglass or similar composite. If you were to make one in this fashion, you could easily rack up over $70 in materials, plus a lot of labor. I know this because I've worked with composites before.

Anyway, let's keep this thread on track. If you are interested in buying one of these grills, please post up. Like I said, the price is not set in stone, but should be under 100. Thanks.

Does Blizz still sell those grills? If so, how identical are they to G-Square grills? Will his grill work better with 90-91 or 92-93 (Assuming JDM 1-PC headlights)?

They are 99% like the original ( Used my G as a template for the mold), the only difference is the gauge of mesh used and there are no metal tabs.

I have made 10 and will be ready for shipping early next week
