i'm planning on getting new muffler, i have a dual tip one right now. should i get another dual tip one or just a single tip.

agreed. get what you like.
the best dual tip i've seen out there is the remus exhasut that usc has. sounds pretty good too (at least on the sound file he included in his members rides post).
i like my single tip greddy though.
in the end, i think almost anything looks better than the stock single tip, but nothing as big as the 12" fizz mentioned, lol

well obviously its all opinions like everyone stated. I personally like the dual tip. I probably wouldnt have even gotten a different exhaust if I had the stock ex dual tips but unfortunatley I had some crappy replacement muffler from mineke or something. (well actually I probably would have but I really like the stock dual tip look
) If I could I would get something that can flow high, look like stock, and be quiet, but as of right now I dont think there is such a thing.

well, my exhaust isn't loud at all. if i'm in the cabin, i can BARELY hear it. that is unless it's in the wee hours of the night and i have the radio off and cruising all by myself on the road with no other cars around me. the sound file was recorded about 2 feet away from the exhaust. don't think anyone plans to put their head 2' to the tips while i'm driving.

yeah, i have dual tip as well.
i prefer dual tip mufflers. it's sort of a more subtle look. also... since i have the EX model, i'm sort of capturing the essence of the stock EX muffler (which was dual tip).Comment
