Hey I have a 1991 Honda accord lx and I heard the Duplicolor paints match almost exact? Is that true for the Maroon/burgandy 91 accord? I just need it to touch up the Rustr around the wheel then Clear coat it. I know there is a DIY for doing the rtust and the guy said that the frost white was a exact match. So if u know the exact name of the color that will match please post.

also, check your door jamb for the color code. then, match that with the paint you plan to buy.

The colour code should be on the drivers door side of the b pillar of your car unless someone took it off.Comment

The code for mine is R78 but its funny because when I go to walmart to get this touch up paint the ones that come in that lil nail ppolish looking bottle, it says R81 on the bottle but it looks EXACTLY like my color so Iam kinda confused. Iam looking for Duplicolor can paint so when I do my rust it matches after some clear coats.Comment

duplicolor only dates back to 94 accord color codes....therefore you will not have a match (unless you have a white car then its all pretty much the same)

Hey I just figured out my car paint isnt original I can tell because I see paint on some of the black rubber but very lil bit. But doesnt that mean it was re done?Comment

Well I found out my car is Bordeax Red and I found out that the car paint on my car isnt original. But it is weird hjow I bought a door off of a 93 car actually 2 doors and they match the rest of the car? So the guy who painted the car did a pretty good match. So now I foudn the can of paint "Bordeax red" at auto zone and Iam going to do my rust spots (Around Wheels) Thanks all. Any Tips? I hears Tiger Hair bondo is good to use. How many coats of paint should I use and clear coat?Comment
