    Where to buy TINT?

I was wondering if you anyone new of some good websites to buy tint? I want a WIDE roll so I can do my front windows in ONE piece, the rolls I have seen are narrow and require two piece tinting. It would be nice to find some basic black window tint from a manufactuer who does windows in general, not just your "fast and the furious websites". The general manufacturer should have the big rolls. Can I buy them from the auto shops who do window tint?

autoshops might sell you a roll, a autozone or murrays has some, i dunno about the big sheets tho.. you might want it professionally done, you dont want any bubbly tint because if u get bubbly tints ima laugh at u . seriously you might be able to find a distributor online i had one but i lost the link, il get back to you tho/.

best thing to do is just go somewhere and pay the extra $$$ for a quality job, nothing makes a car look fucking stupider than purple tint with bubbles in it. i used to want to do that but a friend did it and i realized it was about the gayest think i have ever seen. but in response to your question, i havent found anyplace that could sell you that, but im sure they are out there. check ebay even, they have pretty much everything so they could have it there too.

werd. unless, of course, you really know what you are doing. It's well worth the investment to have a certified tint shop do the tinting especially if you have no experience in it. Tint shops usually come with warranties for faulty products or craftsmanship as well. Point being; your investment is covered and it's money well spent.

ive been tinting for a while now and that back window is my achilles heel..but there right it is a pain and if the conditions arent dang near perfect you'll end up with a tint job down the drain. take it to a shop. find a good one and get some tint graphix on it..lol ill wait for the weather to warm up and show you the red tribal flames i have waiting for my tahoe

Tinting the CB7 is not a simple task. I had mine done at a local SunGard dealer that specializes in glasswork and tinting... And also charges a flat fee ($265 CDN) for tinting the rear, side and front (all but windshield basically).

It came with a lifetime guarentee against fading and peeling...

Initially I thought "wow, i'm getting ripped off" with the cost. Then, ..... 10 hours later.... when they were finished, I felt bad for ripping them off The manager shot me a look when I was paying and said "you're lucky you know. He won't let us book another 90-93 Accord now for at least a year. That rear window is the 2nd hardest window in the industry to tint..."

I would definetely NOT suggest tackling this job as a DIY unless you're really confident, or have spare glass. I've seen so many shitty CB7 tints it's sad...

PS... most of the stuff you buy from retail places will turn that shitty purple color after a few years. Look for a graphite style tint thats guarenteed against fading and morphing to "pimp purple"

I would strongly agree with having a pro do it. That back window is a mf. I paid $160 and he used 3M window tint and did the back window of my coupe with one piece. I've done a lot of window tint in the past, but those curves take talent. I hope to get at least one pic of my ride up soon. BTW, I went with 35% which = no hassles by state police anywhere USA. Locals don't seem to care much

to me 35% looks like a clean window if you have metallic tint and black looks like a barly dark window. I've always heard of people going with 20% b/c it's actuall a little darker and have yet to hear about anyone getting a ticket anywhere close to here. Also those prices seem a little too high i got a 2 door integra with black tint done for $90 an altima done for $125 and another altima i put mettalic silver tint on it for $150. you might wanna check around for some better prices, but it might also be the price of living is higher in some states
