I do own the expensive crimper your talking about but this is a little bit different style connector and thus uses different pins. The pins that i am using are intended to be soldered.

Nice progress... would be fun to play a prank on u like at nopi...just pull the ONE engine plug on the firewall and walk away... be easy 4 u 2 find but still would be great fun hahah....ignore me...

On another note..autoparts stores sells those lil siphon pumps... what I've done instead is get decent length nylon tubing... shove it into the tank.. And use a carb pump... will take a bit of time 4 ten gallons but it will work..... awesome project

that connector is great! it reminds me of the huge connectors they used for mobile video production houses. hope you have it up and running in time for NOPI.

I cannot wait to see this project completed, how hard was it soldering all those wires in such a small space?

they were not hard to solder because you pull the wire through a pin locator first then you solder the pin on and pull it back through. That way your not soldering in such a tight spot.

Thanks, I was thinking of using a connector like that when I do my engine/5speed swap and wire tuck.

im not sure if ur talking about the cars gas tank, but if u are theres a 17mm bolt on the underside just unscrew it and make sure u have something that will hold all the gas.

that connector is a great idea so if something goes wrong with your engine just pull the plug and swap it all out
