If you read carefully, he's not asking for anyones opinions, he's just sharing his project with us.(some of us might even take some of his ideas)

i dont know if its been asked or not, what grits of sand paper did u used to sand down the epoxy resin on the cf?

Finished my H23 plenum. welded the airbooster holes closed as well as the pcv port and polished it nice!

Runners were just sandblasted and look brand new.

How the hell did you get everything that polished? I tried this and spent a lot of time on the plenum then just gave up and painted it after I was having a hard time with in the hard to reach spots. Also, what did you use to weld the holes closed? Heliarc?

yea i tig welded them closed with aluminum. took time and patience and lots of welding cause i blew like 5 holes in it when i was shaping the top of it.

not yet i have my h23 plenum on now which was sandblasted and looks brand new. i have one little hole on the backside of the plenum to weld from the inside and then ill put it on.

man what is with all these people bashing on the project, I think it looks amazing. Its not like your putting fake carbon fiber over everything and building you car with neon lights and ebay parts, your acutally building the engine and doing things right. Its gonna look sick...

people hate... its just what they do! i dont care what most think and only care about those like yourself that give props! but in a month ill be the most powerful f22a on here and the most powerful cb7 too! then im sure ill get even more hate lol!

My manifold is about half done turbo is mounted under the alternator. recieved fuel pump and fittings today. also recieved new TIAL bov and 2.5" intercooler piping which ill build/weld up and then have them chromed or powdercoated, havent decided yet. thought about wrapping them with carbon sleeving i can get but i thing that will be a bit too much carbon in the bay and chrome would look nicer.
