The Canadian EX-R is the equivalent of the US EX. The Accord was not offered in DX trim in Canada. Instead, they marketed the US DX as an LX, the US LX was the EX up north, and the US EX was sold as the EX-R. Not sure what they did with the SE...Originally posted by Junior SmurffNevermind guys, google search works wonders!
I don't have road rage, my car just goes faster than yours!
Accords are for winners. And Grandmothers. But mostly winners.

as stated EX-R is canada only and it's equivalent to US EX.
canada LX = US DX
canada EX = US LX
canada EX-R = US EX
now to answer your question. if both cars are canadian then they differ just like an EX would to and LX. if the EX is US, then the EX-R is the same trim (besides the year change).
we all know that US EX has the better A6 motor, sunroof, rear sway bar, 5.25 front speakers, 6x9 rear speakers, alloy 15" wheels, dual tip exhaust, and 92-93 EX has ABS(rear discs).
