I went to Japan a couple years ago. And I don't know where the whole "amber corners" trend got started, but it wasn't in Japan!

The fully loaded trim of the CB7 (similar to USDM EX (or Canadian EXR)) all come with one piece lights. And the base models (like LX/DX) had clear factory corners with a yellow sleeve over a clear bulb inside the corner.

Even EG Civics are sporting the clear corners with the yellow plastic inside them.

It started in Japan by a company called Vision. They made amber corners for civics and aftermarket companies had to jump on the bandwagon. You think $20 shipped is a deal...try spending 100+ for authentic vision ambers!

Oh on a side note, there are "JDM ambers" for our cars made by a reputable jdm company called Lucky Star. If you don't want e-bay ambers, u can spend about 8000yen and get some luckystar stamped CB corners... but nobody is going to notice unless they get eye level with your corners and notice "luckystar" instead of stanley anyways.

i want to get the vision ones for the civic but i dont have the money for them right now or even the jdm clear ones. jdm has blown up cuz of ebay

there on, but the day after my motor blew. i have bad luck. i also did custom eyelids with electrical tape. lol. ill get some pics of it tomarrow in the garage.

nice.... im nt the biggest fan of ambers but i do plan on gettin a set of 1pcs when i fix my car back up. i think im going to buy ebay ones unless i can find jdm for les than 130. but overall still nice. sux about u motor tho

lol you better order those ebay ones, because jdm 1 pieces go for about $160-180
