        !!

oh, wow man. definately do not fiberglass that, its structural! if you dont know how to weld, either learn to weld or pay someone to do it for you. fiberglassing wont do anything other than make it look good, while making the frame no stronger. weld in some thicker sheet metal to make up for any stress on the other pieces that this may have caused. imo, that is almost enough to total it.

Buy the patch panel and have someone weld it in for you. It's a much better alternative.

I can't really see that being structural, as the inner fender is still there, and that's the structure you should be worried about (I have a pic of my car without the quarter panel on it for reference), but I'd still get it fixed with new metal.

Yeah man, either welding or flush riveting. If you use a riveter with a bucking bar and aluminum alloy rivets, it'll hold good. You'd just have to add body filler and sand it smooth to get a good smooth surface. But riveting is hard unless you have the experience and the right tools. I'd pay a shop to weld it. And spray some corrosion X in that area after the work is done, that'll help prevent future rust. Corrosion X is good stuff , NASA even uses it.

the bumpers hanging right now, i painted it with black spray paint, so the primer wouldnt soak up water

when i get back to my rents house im going to just weld one piece of sheet metal across. and to the two sides. then put holes for the screws, and put it back on.
