ok ok ok, well is it like a dul'ish dim film on them, kinda looks faded?, if thats what it is, thats how my lude rims where, but i would just apply some rim cleaner/shine'r crap, or put some type of armor all on them, spray it on or apply it as it says and go at it, you might have to apply it regularly though, but looks a heck of a lot better.
hope that helps.
but if they are starting to chip/peal or something, you may have to re-do the rims/wheels themselves to fix them, or repair them some how...got a pic of whats happening to them?..if the polishing/cleaning isnt what needs to be done.

Just do from what ive heard get some aircraft stripper from wallgreens and spray the rims down. But be very careful i hear that chemical tears and eats away at shit so make sure you have glves on and a shirt. its almost like an acid but very potent it will stip off anything . Then use a scrubber some soap and water wet it then use some light sandpaper scrub it off then hit it with some mothers wax and shine and your all set.

What some other folks have done is to have the rims sandblasted with a plastic media. Instead of sand, it uses a plastic grit.
Takes the clearcoat off and the oxidation too.
It won't burn your skin off either. Well, unless you shoot the thing at yourself.
You can either have it done or find a place that will let you rent a spray booth and the gear. We have a place here in Milwaukee called U-Spray.
After you blast it, you can re-clearcoat it, or even paint it white, gunmetal or pretty pink flowers. Whatever's to your liking.Bart: What's your name?
Jim: Well, my name is Jim, but most people call me... Jim.
