    my latest paint job

    ok so not too long ago we rattle canned my car with what i thought was a nice red, turned out to be a blood red, as pictured below...


    and looked terrible

    so we redid the paint today, lemme know what you guys think....






    and take some guesses on how much it cost me...

      not yet, and by the time it finished, it was dark and cold out, so the paint is actually a little tacky still, a buffing is in the future...

        why did you not take off the taillights and the antenna? did you do the jams? it looks great man, what did you spend, $30-40? also, i spot a lot of overspray on the wheels and exhaust!

            lol i was waiting for that one! it was a last minute thing, and i didn't have alot of time. it's not permanent, i still plan on getting the car painted professionally.

            we didn't start prepping until almost 7pm or so, so by the time we started painting, it was dark and cold out, which made for a tough paint job. i actually think that the cold made it flow better though, who knew!

            point is, we didn't have alot of time at all

            and all the paint, and supplies, maybe $40

            and we used 6 cans, not including the hood, which was done awhile ago

                  darn overspray, lol I did that to my back window painting the inside of the trunk after I stripped it. nothing acetone and a razor blade couldn't fix
