Well I figured to put this in here but couldnt really decide if it was appearance or suspension, but then thought what the hell wheells got to do with that, so I put it here. On another note, I can't seem to find any posts on here about maximum wheel size, tire included. If there is I didn't find it, was too early in the morning and falling asleep soo........yeah what is the maximum we can go without modifying the suspension??? I was thinking of 18's but then thought about my 87 and thought mabey not cause my 87 could only take 17's np but not 18s, it would of hit the steering knuckle. Plus I wasnt about to go 17s in front and 18s in back like domestic hot rodders. would look stupid in an import. So please can someone let me know so I can start plannin my wheel/tire package.

you can run 20's with bags. you can definitely run 18's no problem. don't go wider than 7.5" if you dont want problems.

b/c when u get larger tires, your tirewalls are going to get smaller and stiffer. This will in turn increase the sort of spring rate of your suspension system (it will have less give), thus you will require uprated shock absorbers to maintain some sort of a ride compliance.
I would say you can go with 16's max without feeling any significant difference in the ride. Otherwise, with 17, 18, and probably even 19's you will need high rated shocks.DEVOTE
