Im gonna do all my bodywork and shaving at once, and then paint my whole car, altho i have already shaved the trunk and painted it, it doesnt match i can tell, but i just wanted to do it and get it out of the way, free anyways :P But yes the best thing to do is fix all your dents, shave whatever you want, buy your bodykit, and shoot the whole car at once.

hm, you have a bluntness about you...

anyways, true. but recommending a process thats inferior isn't a good idea. The average consumer doesnt notice or care due to lack of knowledge. As a board shouldnt we present the best options so they can make a better educated decision?

i dont know everything about anything, for example engine work. But what i would expect from a member that knows more than me is that they give me the benefits and downsides of all options so i can make my decision with a little more understanding. If the OP wants to blend his panel then its his car and he can make that choice. But at least he now knows what the pros and cons are.

I can't agree more on the blend thing. My car was blended when I had the rust fixed, and more than once I've gotten comments about the blend, it's embarassing to a point. I mean it's better than rust, but I wish I would have spent the additional money (I didn't have lol) and had the whole car done.

Honestly, this probably sounds rather cheesy, but the rubber plug in the trunk floor that covers the drain hole is a perfect fit for the antenna hole. It just becomes a black rubber blockoff plate. It's a good temporary fix, if nothing else.
