Fiberglass

Ok can someone give me a hand here, im planning on fixing some rust spots/holes inthe infamouse back wheel well area of my CB7. But i haven't work with Bondo or Fiberglass before i tried searching for it maybe not using the right words but can't find anyone who explaines it...

I know the basic of bondo mix with a hardener and spread over and sand but dryingtimes and all that? Also for holes i was going to use like a Fiberglass mat to cover it then put the fiberglass bondo over it just so i can retain a shape/strength and cheaper then welding in new metal. so yea a little help plz

edit: oh yea i just got the body oilsprayed not to long ago so if that makes a difference i would have to use degreaser and everything right?

Body filler doesn't take long at all to dry. Probably about 10-15 minutes or so to dry before it's sandable. Fiberglass on the other hand I'm not too familiar with because we don't use it much at my work. But honestly I'd reccomend doing it the "right" way and putting new metal in. If you buy the metal for it, cut out what you need, and clean up all the rusted area you want fixed, I'm sure a shop won't charge too much to just weld it in for you.

ok what is the bare basics of doing fiberglass work and such? just to get an idea of what im getting into here.
