BMW Trunk Mat Project

So I was out this morning walking my dog. Found what appears to be a trunkmat from a BMW. It is sitting on my driveway in the sun now so it can dry (rained last night). Here are a few pics of what I am working with. Any guesses on whether it will fit or not. Will post up again after I attempt the fit. Hopefully it will. I need something to keep my carpet dry since the trunklid leaks. Later

I'd guess it won't fit too well from the cut. It looks like it only fits in one wheel well...

The other problem is that it doesn't look like it'll bend easily to get at your spare tire (I keep other tools in the spare well so I need to get to it a lot.)

But I still like it! I want something nicer to cover my trunk. I'm going to just keep an eye out for some nice free carpet or a BMW trunk mat....
