    hood pins - brands?

    need some info on the best hood pins for my car??? does any one have any problems with any??? any suggestions?? thanks

    If you're going for actual hood pins instead of sticky fake-outs, then get locking ones for your daily driver if youre going to forego the OEM hood latch, but if you have a drag-only trailer queen, then you can get away with a regular non-locking cotter pin setup.

          i just went to autozone for their $20 set of locking pins...i'll eventually get some cf ones so i don't have the chrome plate...kinda throws off the cf look to me.

            So AUTOZONE sells quality locking hood pins?

            What about Summit Racing?
            and where would you get those cf locking pins?

              i order some from nrg carbon fiber - lock - no pins Has any one ever used these before or heard of any problems. thanks

                i've been running around the freeways @ 70 mph w/no problems...i've seen the cf ones on egay...never seen the nrg's.
