I've searched and tried everything in the posts but my Vis Invader CF hood just won't latch...yes, it is for my car...if i remove the latch assembly, it sits right (duh...) but can hood pins be used, reliably, by themselves? any other ideas, besides taking it to a shop or selling it? thanks all.

yeah, i adjusted it but still couldn't get the latching mechanism to lock like the oem hood did...i removed the whole mechanism and it was sitting right but not sure if that's gonna be good enough for hood pins alone...i do a bit of freeway driving so i gotta take that into consideration...thanks all.
