    locked trunk doing swap

i was swapping the sedan trunk for a coup trunk and i just screwed the latch piece back on...I wanted to see if it worked so I closed the trunk...unfortunately now it won't open when i pop it and I wasn't finished with everything so the key hole isnt hooked up...to make matters worse my subs are in there so it leaves like no room to try to fix this...any one know what I can do??? please help i kno this is a retarted problem

Hmm maybe try opening up the back seat and going through that way.If you cant fit through or pull your subs out because there too big then i guess thats a lesson learned Did you just bolt up the latch but didnt hook the linkage up to it????bummer for you but good luck

if nothing is attached to the latch assy, try to squeeze in past the subs through the back seat and take out those three gold 10mm bolts, and itll let u open the trunk while leaving the latch assy still attached to the car. u can then manually open it and rebolt it back in.
