I used gutter guard from Home Depot. I've been meaning to redo it though, since mine is just Galvanized steel, so I'm seeing some white corrosion, but its still looking good over 2 years later.

I used gutter guard, but a black plastic one. It came in a roll for a few bucks at Lowes or HD.

Just for those Canadiens who don't know, after extensive searching for this elusive "Home Depot Gutter Guard", I have come to the conclusion that the U.S. Home Depot's have this stuff in abundance I'm guessing, but NOT the Canadian Home Depot's. I have asked at Home Depot, Rona, and smaller hardware stores for this stuff, and all stores have told me that they used to have this stuff years ago, but carry plastic stuff in rolls now, or stiff plastic non-diamond-shape-holed guards in 12 foot lengths. One person suggested I try a stucko supply house. I found some stuff at a local performance shop in 48" x 8" sizes for $20 per sheet. It's sold under the APC brand. So for all you Canadians that are looking for this mesh, look for this stuff, and don't go to the local hardware store....they won't have it.

Mine was in a roll and it was cheap, but it worked great esp after I painted it and wedged it in between the 2 pieces of the grill. And diamond shaped.

I bought a precut mesh grille kit off of eBay years ago. The two acutal grille pieces are long gone, but the two bumper ones are still in place... even after hitting a coyote in 2003; they bend right back.
