Replacement fenders

Ok my question is has anyone bought a fender off ebay that was a replacement? If so how was the quality of it? I know wont be like oem but is the fitment good? It looks like its made of plastic.

had a buddy buy a set they came primed and and the fitment was perfect. There is also this site, don't know what shipping prices are like but the prices are hella low.

How did/do you go about painting it. Did you go to a shop and just get the fender painted, then put it on? Because all the fenders I've seen come in primer only. So getting it painted would probably be the expensive part.

Yeah you'll have to take it to a body shop and have it painted. And yes, paint is the expensive part if you get it done right... but you're still saving money galore

My cost on an Aftermarket accord fender is $22... Bucks.... They fit just fine...

Hate to jack this thread but...

Do you have any ideas on what it would cost to paint. How much is a lot? I need a hood and fender but am having trouble finding them in my color. The parts themselves aren't expensive at all but the paint would kill me im sure. Unless i just sport a primed hood and fender.

Try to find a used painted fender because painting is really expensive. I had CAPA fender installed this June, but still haven't painted it and primer has turned a dull black.

I got it in today in great shape. That company is crap... horrible customer service. They lied to me 3 times about it being shipped out, told me they get back with me and never did, and then gave me a fake tracking number. I had to call and threaten to turn them over to paypal before they did anything... I got it 2 days later.

Other than being lied to, and them waiting forever to ship it, the fender came in in good shape... Next time, I'd probably try another company, or buy it local from a parts supplier.
