The glass itself is not very thick Im thinking of spraying spay foam in the rear to give it some strength. The car will be much lower and with the road conditions here I will eventualy bump it on something
Here are some links for all you guys who want to learn how to fiberglass
I first started to learn how to fiberglass by going through all the pictures of the build ups of the Alpine show cars http://ecominet2.alpine-usa.com/html/adc/adc_main.html
Then I got really interstead in it and started looking farther, here are a couple good sites. Once you know the basics it really easy to move on to say making a lip which looks really good by the way http://www.glassmanscustomforum.com/
Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for those links 91cord. It really helps to see what the whole process involves and how it works. I think I'm going to go fiberglass my whole car now! *runs off to screw up his car some more*
dont do like me uses a resparator its well worth the $50 if your planing on doing glass work in the future
Just stick your head in your shirt, or just get used to the fumes, lol J/K. Doing wood flooring gets you high from all the adheasives/glue. I wear a double filter resparator filter when I am spreading glue all day.
