The car was okay when I got it, I bought it as a second car so I wouldn't have to drive the 3000GT so much (Mitsubishi GTO, hence my nick ). But I wasn't feeling the yellow, it was VW New Beetle Yellow, and the rims were okay but my friend had 40-series tires on it, and the coilovers were pretty dumped, and the ride was schiaattt, and there was all this chrome around the windows, and I've never really liked the 90-91 bumper, especially without a lip... 'Nuff ranting!

    Here's the GTO:

yea that wing is killin me. Anyways i'm gonna have to challenge bustedlx on mechanics here. My car was bought from a mechanic friend of my dad. The shop had been doing most of the maintenance work and fix-ups since the car was bought by the doctor who sold it to me. It was just his family car and he only drove it to work and back. Judging on the exterior he kept it in the garage, The only things i've replaced that i needed to were the alternator and the valve cover gasket besides that the only rust spot on the entire body is right below the "H" symbol on the trunk lid. And even thats tiny. I got my car for $2500 but wanted an integra or rx7. After many late night arguements and fueds me and the burgandy interior became friends....although i still wanna dye it black or somethin cause i mean damn ... damn lol. And what i'll always remember about this car is when i took it out to drive the first night. I hadn't had much experience driving a 5-speed but i knew how. And as i'm approaching an intersection a girl in a green civic pulled up in the right side lane to me, looked at my car, and started laughing at me . And come to find out the performance shops even laugh at me...I won't soon forget that, and i get my revenge on civics on at a time now. But little did i know i could beat civics and integras in with the stock 91 lx (154K miles). Once again...one at a time they will all pay. I think the defining moment of me getting serious was when i went into a nearby shop called "velocity trends" and asked them how much an i/h/e package was so the guy goes behind his little counter and does some calculating, looks up and says $1150...i about shit myself lol. So i tell him i only wanna be able to beat little civics and integras and stuff, i said what can i do that would be too much money to just get the car to gitty up faster? He asks me what i have, i said "91 accord lx", he turns to his buddy and they were trying to contain themselves from laughing at me, then they go yea theres somethin u can do...get a new car! Ever since that day i've hated them and take them out one by one. Sorry for the long ass story but i had to vent ya know

Yeah, I get beat by Boxsters in the CB7, so I go home, get in the GTO, and beat the hell outta them back, but it ain't the same! If I was staying in this country, I'd definitely do an H22 swap, add some Prelude Type S cams and a J's Racing intake, go back to the stock exhaust system down to the header, and go stomping!!!!

As for Civics and Tegs, a semi-modded CB7 should be able to at least keep up, if not beat most of the non-GSRs and Type Rs and hybrids and all that! We have more torque, no?

yes we do have more torque and i'm able to WORK just about every car through first gear...2nd gear is a different story but we won't get into that lol. I found out at the tracks that i could beat integras when i ripped on a 98 lx with i/e by 6 cars on the 1/8th mile. I knew the cb7 was somethin special then

mine. she was beat slightly by her previous owner. big dent in the driver side rear quarter panel, the hood is still pretty dinged up, some scratches here and there, and to boot the engine was only running on 3 of the 4 cylinders. i replaced the stock engine with a stock engine, about two months later I began my fascination with car modifying to make mountain driving even more exhilirating. needless to say i was pissed that i didn't have knowledge of the H22A swap. oh well still saving for the JDM H22A as I type this. still saving for a new paint job to give her that floor room shine again, and take out all the dings, scratches, and chips.
all in all i payed about 2000 for her, and then 1500 for the replacement engine. i guess it wasn't all that bad, but the previous owner was a complete prick, showed his true colors about ten seconds after I payed and signed for the car. oh well, it is my CB7 now and she gets alot more attention and zip now.

Funny speaking of that.. I was at the mall today and I come outside and theres a car EXACTLY like mine when I bought it parked right next to me so I had to take a picture with my camera phone.

I bought my car from the 2nd owner in December of 2001 with 130,000K on it. PERFECT shape.. no rust.. no dents.. flawless paint.. so I bought it. then I threw my rims on it, then tails, then headlights, then yada yada now it's completely shaved and molded.

In may, I am repainting the car, puttin a new front on it, and dropping my h22a engine in it.

                        here's the pic

.. i HAD more shaved on my accord than your girl does on her entire body..

Yea, its on air cylinders. But Im taking them off this sat. for the winter, then I'll put them back on sometime in the spring. When I ride around I usually have the rear about 1-2" from layed out and the front about 2-3" of tire-fender gap. Plus Im trading my buddy (who just bought a cb7 for a dd) my KYB AGX's for stock struts off his lude and $200, tommorrow.

My wheels are TenzoR Shu4's 17x7. On the suspension in those older pics, Ground Control Coilovers w/ Eibach springs, KYB AGX adjustable gas struts, and KYB urethane bushings.

Right after I got it: *refer to pic below*

It had 138,000 miles on it. Nothing was wrong with it sans a broaken power antenna, some curb rashes on the rims and a really dirty engine bay.
