    90 accord PAINT probs :(

    the SAP from trees have SULKENED and sunk into my paint, i dk what i can do to remove it

    i've trided washing it, using my nail, using goo gone, no work. it lightens but its still in there ... but i guess it doesn't matter..

    try some paint thinner , it shouldnt take off the paint coat unless it was re painted


    other than that

    Sand
    prime
    sand again
    prime
    wetsand
    paint
    clear coat x4

      i have used johnson baby oil to get sap off of my car and if its been on the car for awhile i used some WD 40 and got it off and then washed down the car

          ahh tried both. not good.. its like it clings onto the surface.

          i might have to go simple green or some castrol engine degreaser.
          hahahahah

            I just ran into the same problem. I used bug/tar removal and it worked for the most part. I learned not to let something like that sit for awhile. Remove it right away.

                you could try isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. it's worked for me in the past.
